who inspires me and has impacted upon the fashion world?

For me, one individual is Audrey Hepburn. She made the 'little black dress' aka LBD famous, something simple but still to look amazing in and this is still a popular garment today. In her films such as Breakfast At Tiffany's she insisted on wearing Givenchy clothing. She clearly had an eye for fashion. In my eyes she defied Hollywood classic beauty- thick brows and dainty features and a big smile. She wasn't just a pretty face but also had comedic, confident personality which was shown through the roles she played in films and theater. Models today can't just look good but also have to have something about them and I think Audrey set the standard of this back in the 1950s.
